Pulled the trigger and bought a used diesel truck.

This isn't my truck, but I just bought the tire and wheel package, and my truck will look identical to this truck... but all black and badgeless.

Would it be affected by this (see that you are poasting about a 2500 not 1500):

A recall would have to bring all of Fiat Chrysler’s vehicles into full compliance with emissions standards, the letter said. The case involves diesel-powered Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs and Ram 1500 pickups from model years 2014-2016 that regulators allege were sold with emission software that violated U.S. clean-air rules.

Nope, I'm going to remove all the emissions anyway.

Already have my EGR delete kit and my DSF delete kit along with a mini maxx tuner.

No emissions checks where I live.

Mine is a 2500

Yup! I'm going with a mild tune though and only 4" pipes. Just want my motor to last longer and get beget mpg.

EGR/DPF are some of the stupidest lib ideas ever.

Nice. My favorite truck ever was a Dodge Ram 1500. I've driven Fords, Dodges, and Chevys.

I'll be selling my 2013 1500, I loved it, but it just doesn't have the muscle necessary to pull a big ocean boat. So, I had to get the diesel. I'm a big Ram guy. They're all really nice these days, but I just like the Ram appearance best.
